The Working Room of Stephen Hawking
Leading scientist Stephen Hawking moves in his office at The Center for Mathematical Sciences, University of Cambridge, London, England, December 14, 2011. Stephen Hawking died at age 76.

Stephen Hawking is known as an intelligent scientist who is able to spawn various research in the field of physics. Although suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and had to spend his life sitting in a wheelchair, Hawking was still able to gain a lot of wealth.

Quoted from Inverse.com, Wednesday (14/3/2018), this scientist has a wealth of US $ 20 million or equivalent to Rp 273 billion. The wealth is largely derived from the diversification of Hawking’s income throughout his life.

The 72-year-old man has a rich source of income. Stephen Hawking is director of the Center for Theoretical Cosmology at the University of Cambridge. Of course, that prestigius position can give Hawking a salary that is not small.

In addition, he is also the author of various best-selling books. His best-selling book, A Brief History of Time, was able to top the best-selling book of the Sunday Times in Britain for over four years.

The figure of Hawking has also inspired many producers to make television shows and movies that tell about him. The Theory of Everything movie, starring Eddy Redmayne scored a lot profit in Box Office.

In 2012, Hawking was awarded US $ 3 million for winning the Fundamental Physics Prize award. The award was awarded by Russian billionaire Yuri Milner.

Despite the abundance of treasures, there is no doubt Stephen Hawking has used his wealth to help raise his profile, and expand his influence, both in the scientific and public spheres.

Close Age
News mourning helped color social media today (14/3/2018). The reason, a great scientist in the field of cosmology and theoretical physics, namely Stephen Hawking, passed away at the age of 76 years on Wednesday (14/3/2018).

Despite a paralyzing disease since the age of 21, Stephen Hawking’s intelligence about galaxies, black holes, and reativity theory led him to honorable academic positions at many of the top universities.

Stephen William Hawking, CH, CBE, FRS is a Lucasian professor of mathematics at Cambridge University and a member of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.

He is also known for his contributions in the field of quantum physics, particularly his theories about cosmology, quantum gravity, black holes, and Hawking radiation.

At a young age, energetic, and his thirst to study, doctors diagnosed Stephen Hawking exposed to ALS in 1963. Sadly, doctors say Hawking’s age is two years away. That is, he will die in 1965.

ALS is a motor neurone disease. That’s why doctors predict Stephen Hawking has only two years left. But in fact Stephen Hawking managed to break the doctor’s prediction. He managed to survive for about 50 years and died when stepping 76 years. That may be because his work will bring great and meaningful change to the world.
